My 360 lol!!!
ok guys i know this looks a lil funny but this is one of the oldest xboxs ive had (drive is dated August 2006) and ive always used it like this and never had any prob with any type of overheating that big ass fan right on the heat sink works wonders..So heres what i rly want to do tho i want to cut a hole on the top case right over the heat sink n place a decent fan there, any ideas where i can purchase a small but decent fan that will fit???

would a standard pc extract fan work just turn the fan around. you should be able to power that through the drive

i have one of these on both projo tv in the game room
the tv as a over heating "stk" problem in its original state
the stk would only work about 6 months then burn out.
after mounting a fan on the back of the tv (takes power from in the tv)
they have been going strong for years now.
here is a picture.
its dark i was not going to take the tv off its stand.
its cheap, but you would have to come up with a 110 power plug to put on it.
that should not be to hard
hell cut the cord off the big ass fan laying on top of your 360.
have a look.

I was gonna say there are 250mm fans that would probably work.
