sammy ms-28 unlock?

Hey all hows it going good i hope im trying to flash a Sammy ms-28 drive with jungle flasher(latest version) trying to get jf to see the drive drive already flashed with ix1.4-1.5 not shur witch? have looked about the net for answer power cycling drive at the write times? can someone explain the process to me plz dont mean to be a pain but ya don't ask ya don't get? thank u.

No problem man, just eject the drive, power off, push drive tray half in, and power on. This should put it in vendor mode then you just click intro/device id and you should be good.

Oh one more thing if you find out that you can't get it in vendor mode then you might have 1.4 on there. In which case you'll need the 0800 unlock cd to get that drive into vendor mode for further flashing but we'll cross that bridge if we need to.

Sammy unlock is for stock drives only.

If you have 1.4 or earlier you will need the 0800 disk. If you have 1.5, you can just power the drive with the tray half open.

Interesting! spoke to my mate ho's 360 it is it was originally a liteon drive that came in it from new! wen it was originally flashed at the time the liteon could not be flashed! so person ho did it put the Sammy in it he has the ofw on a disc with the actual liteon drive to! dose this change things at all? ps now i have the ofw on disc can i flash the liteon with no ck3 or probe?

Not really, I guess you dont need to dump the FW since you have it already. Just open your OFW in jungle flasher, then open ixtreme 1.6 or 1.51 (whatever you are going to flash to) then spoof source to target, then erase the drive, then click write.

Should go through all the banks erasing and flashing, and then verifying, and you are done.
