Help needed with BenQ.
Re: Help needed with BenQ.
the E000 is your port right your sure.
all your other driver are undone
with me i could not put the "0" at the end of the command line
try it without the 0 or 1
if leaving it off dont work then try it with a 1 at the end of the command

and then i answer y...
I don't know if this is even relative or not, but I have had dos programs hang on me if I answered with a "y" instead of "yes" or vice versa depending on what they were asking for. I haven't messed with the benq firmware yet so this may not even apply. just a thought.

Re: Help needed with BenQ.
well my flash was slightly different then cofree's. i put a 0 after each command and he didnt have to. it also worked if i put a 1, i think. when i flashed my friend's xbox a couple days ago i put 0 after each command and i got no errors, everything went smoothly. i have the VIA 6421a sata card, i use windows xp because i dont trust vista with this, i did make my ixtreme fw in vista though. but i formatted and copied over dosflash in xp just to make sure that it got formatted correctly. most likely, if you have the right hardware, you can do it. nuff said.
Re: Help needed with BenQ.
The port info is correct.... i just followed the instructions on that guide you sent me. I used iprep to make the bootable usb and i type in " dosflash r e000 1 a0 1 4 c:\orig.bin 0" i also try "dosflash ................... orig.bin 1" ,
also " dosflash r e000 1 a0 1 4 orig.bin 0" but now it doesnt even start to read the first bank....
I truly have no idea what I am doing wrong
