hi all im gonna go buy me a new xbox 360 is there anything i should look for on the box like date wise

the 200 dollar xbox360 is good enoufg to flash?

Just to explain the drives a bit... You will likely get a lite-on if you purchase a new console.

If you buy an elite console, you will likely get a benq or hitachi. Samsung's arent really around anymore (that is for new consoles, theres still lots kicking around)

But, again all drives are mod-able.

all new elites i get in have light on's older ones have benq and even older ones are usually hitachi's. never seen an elite with a samsung unless it was spoofed.

Theres Lite-on's in elites now? I thought they stuck with BenQ's because they were quieter.

Well I had to send in an elite, and when I got it back, there was a lite-on in it...

ok guys do i us ethe firmware 1.6 for the liteon drive i get the firmware from xbins the Lite-on ixtream-THX V1.6 Repack can i us ethis firmware i just baught a new 360

also i try getting key with jungle flasher it says Serial Data is bad, y???

also it says no drive dectected

i would advise you to use the latest FW for your drive, yeah that it is the correct 1 for your drive.

im presuming your using a ck3 pro with probe?????????

In JF what com port to do you have selected under the dvdkey32 tab

have you installed portio drivers? and disable the via drivers to your card

ok yes i baught a sata card when i modded my benq i needed it for that can i just take that out of my pc and unistall the drives


yup i install the drivers for the portIO 32
also the drivers for the usb

below at the bottom shouldnt my dvd read a 1 instead of a 0 it says i have no dvd drive hooked up

This is a 32 bit process running on 2 x 32 bit CPUs
PortIO is installed and running.
Found 8 I/O Ports.
Found 1 Com Ports.

Found 0 CD/DVD drives <---------------------- shouldnt it be a 1 if my ck3 probe is bad will it give me a 0 but it seems that my ck3 pro kit is working fine its diung what it has to do opening closing tray ECT

i dont realy use JF all i ever use that for is to read the key from a lite-on i use iprep for everything else

oh ok first time using jf now how far do u have to use jf to get the files then u can put the files on a usb stick to flash from usb

you just need to connect up the drive and go to the dvdkey32 tab then extract the key then use it to create your FW with JF

ah ok gotcha it seems easy so whats the command when u flash from a usb stick like dben also fben for benq

make sure that you have a good key also make sure that you back up the key.bin - dummy.bin - identify.bin - inquiry.bin

well once you have creataed your FW with jf you would save it as litcfw.bin

then create your bootable usb device with iprep, open that up and then you will see a folder called backups.

Open that and create a folder called 1234567 open that and create a folder called 12345

so should be like this backups/1234567/12345

once you have done that copy and paste your Fw into that folder caled 12345

then boot into iprep and go straight to flit 1234567 12345
