Help with Samsung

Hi All
I am having a problem getting the Sammy to go into vender mode?
I can do this ok normally BUT this one will not go into vender mode,
I have used JF & I prep but I can’t unlock it!
This drive has been flashed be for poss 1.4?
I don’t have the key or bin as this was flashed a the computer show.
Any help please

You need the 0800 unlock cd. It's only used for ixtreme versions prior to 1.5 so anything with 1.4 or less needs that disc. You can find it on xbins under firmware I believe.

i now have the activate cd how do i use it anyone have a tut on this?
i have not done a sammy before.
ok so far with the rest of the other drives

Cheers for the tut But my problem is is can't get the sammy into vendor mode?? i have tryed JF and I Prep still no joy.
i have been looking around and seen on JF there is a activate cd? to unlock the drive.
i have the cd but dont no how to use it?
This drive has all ready flashed. not by me so i dont have the backup keys or bin.
any help is good

can you not open the tray half way before you connect it up to jf?

Is your via card disabled? I was having a hell of a time with my samsung drive before I disabled mine. I would get all 3 stages, then it would fail.

you are making this difficult for yourself. if you use jungleflasher 1.62 it would make things much easier. IIRC, start reading from page 19 (the jungleflasher pdf) & there's acertain section that specifies how to use without the activate.iso cd. it worked like a cinch & it should work for you as well as long as you've followed all other steps (disabling the via driver & renaming) & installing port i/o if so, you 'll be golden & up & running like the rest of us
