i would strongly suggest that you use a sata card that has the VIA6421 chip these are 100% compatable

can you not put your via card on the board that your using now. Disable the drivers when using JF as long as you have the Portio 32 drivers installed you can use JF with out it freezin

what im saying is put your pci via card onto the board that you are using now. use iprep to flash the drives. But if your going to use JF you will need to disable the drivers to that card as thats what causes your comp to freeze

so if i disable the drivers...i can still use the sata on the via chipset without it freezing..

if you disable the drivers to your card, you can use JF and that shouldnt freeze, but if you do that nothing else apart from the 360 drive wont work untill you enable the drivers. But i would suggest just use iprep to do your flashing then you dont have to disable anything.
