Treat it like you bought a brand new xbox with a benQ in it.

The reason its getting hard to find people to answer questions. The forum is used to ask questions and not by PM. Alot of people will be ok if your already helping some 1 but off the collor questions on PM dont get answerd

Am I missing something? I thought he answered your question politely. I am new to this forum, but everyone I have encountered so far including commando has been nice, patient and helpful.

Its only logical to post questions in the forum, if you PM someone, only you are helped, if you post it on the forum it has the potential to help lots more people who may be having the same problem.

I dont mind being pm'd if ive been helping the person for a while on the board, and they send me a message asking something simple like "I was looking on ebay and this listing said this, but that doesn't make sense"

I am assuming that someone asked you to post your question in the forum. If that is the case, they did so correctly. Like HaGGardSmurf and Commando_Lee explained, posting your question in the forums has the potential to help a lot of people and not just yourself. Of course the goal is to help the question asker, but doing so publicly allows everyone to see it and benefit from it. Your question was answered politely and in a timely manner so I fail to see an issue here. Please, enjoy the forums for what they offer.
