Robin Hoods Playground

i have a hitachi drive in my xbox360 but the rom.ver # is 0027ac what does that mean normally it would have 59 47 ect... but i have never seen this before could someone tell me what this drive really is. second part to my question is what do i have to do if i wanted to put a m28 or m25 in this xbox360 . thanks.

Cool, how did you manage to get a development drive? Was it repaired by microsoft at any time. Technically hitachi's require version 46 and above to work in a retail console so the chances are its been updated.

Edit: Don't know if any of the guys have any experience on this one but i've had a hunt around and the general consensus is either unflashable or if it's been updated it can be dumped as a 46. Strange one this.
