Lite On Invalid Key please help!

i followed cofrees tutorial on flashing the lite on with iprep to the "T". But when i go to extract the key and stuff it says invalid DVD Key and it aborts, any suggestions?

Probe in the correct VIA, Serial cable hooked up?

yes i am using a usb to serial adapter but it shows up in iprep as a valid com port so thats not the issue

Yes it is, once in DOS it's not usable, only a true COM port is.
Sorry, but iPrep cannot work with USB<>COM adapters.

ok ive found a computer with built in com ports, it says bad inquiry or somethin like that

What are you using to power the drive?
