PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE POST IF YOU ARE GOING TO TRY THIS, I DONT KNOW IF IT WILL WORK FOR YOU BUT IT DID FOR ME
Ok this is going to be a long post but I hope it can help someone trying to flash a lite on drive, but before I start I would like to thank Cofree, commando lee and everyone on the site for all their help because without them I would never have been able to flash those two lite on drives, thanks again guys for all your help I greatly appreciate it.
Ok here we go, I tried to flash a lite on drive with jungleflasher and a via card that had the uata driver installed that was mention on this site on one of the posts, so I had everything hooked up to my computer and had already dumped the firmware with usb xtractor,created custom firmware, had it loaded in jungleflasher and was set to erase the drive and flash it. Well I tried to erase the drive and disaster struck my computer got stuck and It did not erase the drive and the drive did not want to open or do anything any more, I thought that the drive was screwed so I came back to the site and checked on some of the posts to see if I could find any info on fixing the drive and I came upon this thread http://www.robinhoodsplayground.com/for ... 879#p39879" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I followed commando lees instructions and it worked like a charm, this is what I did I started jungleflasher loaded dummy.bin into source firmware then loaded ixtreme 1.6 into target firmware and hit spoof source to target and created custom firmware and named it litcfw.bin and saved the firmware on my desktop in a folder named backups that had two other folders in it, the first one named 1234567 and the second one named 12345(this is were I saved the firmware).
Now I started iprep and made a bootable floppy disk(thanks cofree it worked just like you said it would) with ixtreme 1.6 firmware, once it was ready I deleted the custom firmware folder and replaced the backups folder with the one I had created. Then I uninstalled the uata driver and installed the original via driver, I then followed commando lees instructions on how to manually open the lite on drive and pushed it in half way since it was locked up,I restarted my pc and let iprep load up, once it did I hooked up the drive and cut it on and when I did my computer started up again for some reason, so instead of cutting the drive off I left it on and let iprep load up again, for some reason this worked for me I dont know why but I was able to flash the drive following the second half of Cofree's video were he is using iprep(this video http://www.robinhoodsplayground.com/for ... 195&t=5130" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) I started on the part were he goes into flashing the drive(flit 1234567 12345) again I dont know why leaving the drive on instead of cutting it off when my pc restarted worked but it just did and I was able to flash the drive with no problems.
Seeing how that worked I took a second lite on drive that was NOT LOCKED up and tried to flash it the same way, I already had a second floppy disk ready to go with the custom firmware for that drive, so I loaded that floppy into the disk drive and started up my pc, let iprep load up, hooked up the drive and cut it on, ejected the drive, cut it off and pushed the disk tray in half way and cut it back on, and again once i did that my pc restarted itself so I left the drive on and let iprep load up again and did the same thing to flash it by following the second half Cofrees video and it worked like a charm.
Oh before I forget the drive that was LOCKED UP for some reason seem to make iprep take a lot longer to load up but I waited for a bit and it finally did. The second drive that was NOT LOCKED UP let iprep load up like normal, I did not have to wait at all. I hope that this helps someone that is having trouble with those pesky lite on drives and again I cant thank Cofree and everyone on the site enough for all the help they provided, Thanks again guys.
