I tried it with jungle flasher. I had every thing set up right. via drivers disabled, portIO32 installed,.net framework installed ck3probe drivers installed. JF froze on the write. Not my comp, just JF. I spoofed a samsung with my lite on info. Turned out the Samsung has a dirty lense. It plays originals fine, but has trouble with the back ups. I did the lite on recovery dos flash method. It forze on the write. I went back in and re-enabled my via drivers, tried it again and it froze on the write again.

Im really out of ideas. I dont know why my computer wont write to a lite on. Ive only done 2 samsungs in the past and I have had no problems. Ive spent 4 straight nights on this lite on and its driving me crazy.

This is my original post with more details on each attempt and JF logs viewtopic.php?f=63&t=6897" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I wouldnt make 2 posts, but the other post inactive right now and Im out of ideas and need to see if anyone has any other advice or might know where im gong wrong.

RHPG is an amazing site and the users here are way more friendly and helpful than any other message board ive ever frequented. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Do this you will need JF and Iprep which you can get from our download section

Making your new firmware.
open jungle flasher and.

1. select load source firmware (your dummy.bin from JF dump)
2. yes to load ixtreme or manually select the liteon ix1.6.bin file.
3. click spoof source to target. (details will be copied across)
4. click save to file
5. You MUST save as litcfw.bin

Now save this to iprep usb drive folder Backups\1234567\12345
you may need to make the folder 1234567 and then inside that folder create the folder 12345 save the litcfw.bin in there.

Opening the tray: follow pic below then.....
Once you can open the tray pull the tray out fully and push half way back in. Now, hook it up to the PC using
Connectivity Kit and Sata, power on and flash your new firmware.

Flashing your liteon in iprep.
Start iprep and do the following:

1. flit 1234567 12345
2. follow instructions (power cycle drive etc)
3. select W to write firmware
4. type when asked litcfw.bin
Thats it youre flashed.

I tried it and got the same results as every other method. Freeze at write. I ended up just cleaning the lense on the sammy drive I spoofed and now its playing games flawlessly. Still sucks that I cant seem to write to a lite on, but at least I have the system running and playing back ups.
