I just bought a computer from someone on craigslist and it has fedora installed, I would like to have windows xp instead, i sent him a text asking for the password and his reply was "format it, and put windows on it" I was wondering if anyone out there would be able to point me in the right direction. any help would be appreciated

just put your windows cd in and boot up
then install windows
after that you will have to install some drivers

when i put the windows cd in it only take me to a screen that has all the drives and lists all the PCI device listing eg bus # device # func # and so on... at the bottom of the screen there is a flashing cursor but I cant type anything... i know the keyboard works...and after a while itll just start booting up into fedora... any advice?

go into the bios and set the cd drive as the first boot device.

ive tried pressing every f key under the sun along with del and even pause/break none of the suggestions from my google searches have helped, do you know how to get into the bios? the computer is a sony vaio pcv-7732 and like i said before its running fedora, dont know if that matters...

i just went to sony's website and in the manual http://www.kb.sony.com/selfservice/micr ... 2047060914" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; on lage 16 its says when u press f3 ony the sony screen and f2 option should pop up to allow you to get to bios... i tried this and it didnt work.. any other suggestions for getting into bios?

How to use OpenVPN on Fedora Core 4 and FreeBSD? I am going to set up OpenVPN to be used between Windows XP, fedora, FreeBSD and Sun. For example, to connect Xp to Fedora. Could someone help me with the setup.
