im trying to make my liteon cfw i have the 1.6cfw from xbins in the jf folder and its called ix16-liteon.bin but jf says cannot open file ?

Make sure you got the latest build of jungle flasher

Im getting closer loaded 1.6 fw he he i can taste it

1.65 was released the other daylol, check out the download section how are you trying to build your custom firmware?

im using jf to buil cfw (hopefully) lol

when building a custom firmware open your dummy.bin as the source firmware and the ixtreme 1.6 as the target and then click spoof source to target and then click save to file to save the custom firmware

well......
the drive has died....
giving me another 1red lite OMG WOT A F......
I have only got the 4 files created the cfw then went to make iprep with dos folder booted into dos...
l-o-eras n all that & kept getting FF80, tried again then checked the drive and it wouldnt open ?
iv put it back together to try eject it and NOTHING just 1 red light....
wot the hell man ....
im off to bed...

Did you try the l-o-eras command twice? thats what you should be doing lol

yes man it just gave FF80 on every re-booted attempt the second shud be FF72 ?if i have the files could this be fixed ?

im having no luck in owt right now it must be my turn eh

just a recap for any1 reading this...
this drive hasnt been dumped all i have done is get the 4 files using probe then iv gone into iprep to try it that way i havent got to the erase part so it aint locked up ( i had dissabled via drivers first for jf) ????
i also had to make my serial info as jf said some was missing, i used ghost74's tut and it worked fine...

Firstly do you have a good key? If so, no need to worry, worst case senario you will need to buy a new drive which is like 30.00 USD.

Anyways, if you have the 4 files, you HAVE dumped the drive. what exactly did you do? You probed it, read the drive, got the 4 files then what?

oh, I just re-read your post, your drive is locked up... Just use cofree's tut to recover it:
