via card liteon erase problem

Hello there everyone.
In a previous post i mentioned that i was pleased to find an older liteon thus the 707 would do just fine.
The key and all else was dumped flawlessly but during the erase i am met with:

Sending Lite-On-Erase request to port 0xB000
..............
Drive returned Status 0xD0
....................
Device Intro failed!

The tray is half open and I am using a via-card along with the xtractor.

as the key dumped I would assume i have the correct com and i/o port.
what else could be happening?
Oh to mention i also went to my windows/system32/driver/viamraid and changed it to viamraid.mn
checked in control panel/system/hardware/device manager/ and it shows drivers not found for the via so i would assume that me renaming the file was enough.
any help would do me great as i am on the last step of this puppy.
thanks everyone!

Did you remember to save the hacked firmware? my lite ons lock up if i dont do this, does the drive eject at all anymore? dont worry if your lite on has locked up though as long as you have a good key and the dummy your fine. ill show you exacly what to do if your drive has locked up ;)

Ive got to go so ill tell you exactly what to do now, download iprep 9.0 and use it to make a bootable usb device after the boot device is made go into it and minimize it, now download ixtreme1.5 from xbins (it has the stuff you need to unlock the drive) inside the ixtreme 1.5 folder there is a folder called dos, copy the contents of that folder into the boot device you just made, put the custom firmware you made for the lite on in the boot device aswel (the firmware should be the ixtreme 1.6 with your key on it and it should be called lite_cfw.bin). Make sure you remember your sata port number, B000 i think you said it was lol. Now shut down your computer and boot into iprep without the sata cable pluged into your drive and the drive powered off. COPY DOWN THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS IF YOU WANT TO DO IT ALL CORRECT!

plug sata in
turn drive on
TYPE l-o-eras.exe[space]<sata port number> e.g l-o-eras.exe f800
should give you status ff80
TYPE l-o-eras.exe[space]<sata prot number>
should give you status ff72 ( if you do not get this status of ff72 then keep trying until you do)
turn dvd drive off
TYPE dosflash
enter
remember the number it asked you to resend on! should be anything between 0-9
when it asks you to resend TYPE y
turn dvd drive on
TYPE <number it asked you to resend on>
enter
do the erase command so TYPE E
enter
after it has fully erased turn dvd drive off
TYPE dosflash
enter
when it asks you to resend TYPE y
turn dvd drive on
TYPE <number it asked you to resend on>
now we want to do the write command so TYPE w
enter
now it asks you to enter the name of the custom firmware you made, because you used jungle flasher it should be lite_cfw.bin, type that name in
enter
let it flash all 4 banks and your done :D

A BIG THANKS TO EVERYONE ON THIS!!!
Flawless work to get the liteon back up and running and cofree, my liteon was also number 6 listed on the drives. lol that had me laughing.
Once again I know where to point my compass when lost in the digital world of hacking.
Thanks again everyone.
P.S.
Wife has a big smile on her face to know she can kill some L4D zombies now!

The end result was a mix between your info and cofrees video. I used yours to get me started and when i thought i needed a little visual comfort i went to the video cofree made. Thus in the end through your combined efforts it all worked out well. LOl i wasn't kidding about my wife playing L4D. Man all she wants to do when we both get home is set up a lan game and start yelling "BOOMER BOOMER!!! I AM WATCHING YOUR SIX!!!"
Thanks to everyone.
