Trying to flash a Lite-On Drvie with iXtreme v1.6

When I go and try to flash a Lite-On Drive with iXtreme v1.6 with iPrep v008.8 (I do have the ixDef file updated), everything goes good up until when I extract the DVD Key and it copy's fine, but I do not see the Hacked firmware in there. for example:

When the DVD key is extracted and copied, the iPrep program likes like this:

Drive Key: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (you know a much of numbers and some letters)

Original Firmware Version: Lite-On DG-16D28 74850C (DummyGen Extract)
Key Location: 0x4030

Hacked Firmware Version: Lite-On DG-16D28 74850C
Hacked FW Type: iXtreme v1.6 12x

The only thing I do not see is the Hacked FW Type like you see here. That happens every time I go to do a flash on a lite-on drive with iXtreme v1.6, but when I am going to flash a Lite-On drive with iXtreme v1.51 with iPrep v008.8, I do see the Hacked FW Type. Is this normal? Please help. Thanks....c0afanh.

do you know how to get the key through jungle flasher?

if you do then follow my tutorial on flashing it
viewtopic.php?f=197&t=7041" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

i know your drive is not locked but that way will do it, takes about 10mins max

No, I really don't use Jungle Flasher. I like to use iPrep. Anyway, can either you or someone else help me to resolve the issue I am having with iPrep. I need to know what I stated previously is normal. Please help. The reason why I ask is because you really didn't answer my question. Please help. Thanks....c0afanh.

No. I tried using Jungle Flasher. Every time I try to use it, it keeps saying that it needs the custom firmware in a certain place and in a certain file. I need put the custom firmware in the right place and in that certain file, but I have had no luck with using Jungle Flasher. Can someone place help. And no, I am not doing anything or saying anything wrong. So you chill out louis09. All I am doing is asking for help on how to use Jungle Flasher since I really don't use that program. I like to use iPrep.

Your firmware is supposed to be in the firmware folder of jungle flasher... If you put it there, you should have no problems.

I dont think commando would really apreciate you saying that, you could of at least said "THANKS commando but that didnt help me, any other ideas", besides that i dont think jungle flasher should ask for a custm firmware to be in a certain place if all your doing is getting the key, i use jungle all the time because i dont seem to have problems with it but maybe you should have another try at it.

I´m only use JF to extract the key-files and make a Lite_CFW.bin file that I´m put on a USB stick.
Then I flash it in DOS.CoFree made an super guide for this with a modified Iprep USB
