Electronics Solder?

What kind of solder should I be using for MISC electronic related tasks.

I will probably be soldering PCB's and wires mostly. I have no idea what solder I used to use, I just had a roll in a plastic dispenser, no label...

I know I need rosin core, I dont really want to have to mess around with flux, its easier to just tin the tip, and do the job.

Its hard to find 60/40 tin lead, but I hear its better, as it has a lower melting point. Most solders ive seen are 'silver'..

JW your thoughts.

I personally use Sparkle EX 60/40 I have it in two diameters... 1 Very thin for tiny stuff and one a little thicker...sport it off eBay and they mail it to you...

Hmmm ill take a look on ebay. 2 diameters would be perfect for me, as xbox soldering would require small solder, and wire soldering takes bigger...

Do you remember who you bought it from off ebay?
