lite on drive help please

hey guys i got my xbox back from MS and wanted to flash it. it has the lite on drive in it. i mistakenly erased before backing up.

what im saying is, i did

FLIT insted of DLIT.

is my drive gone? thanks for any response

Sorry if its erased before you've saved a valid dump its game over for the full console.

so dump the whole xbox 360? i did some diggin how long should the key be? 74850CA0A1D608CG84680200SH0 that long enough? also thanks for the responce.

Yip and it should look similar to that. (no recurring letters or numbers 7777777's etc) I'm sure iprep has a built in precaution to prevent you using flit unless there's a lit.cfw file in the folder. Have you tried the drive back in the console and does it eject??

the drive will not eject? i think its toast. let me know if i could do anything

i got it to work on my computer but will not eject in the xbox. any idea's of saving the drive? i cant get the key from iprep way or jungle flasher. any help would be great.

Thats just it. If it ran the flash command before getting the key, there is no key to get. If you can't get iprep or jf to get you a dump of it, that even further confirms the absence of a valid firmware to dump.

thanks guys for all the info and response. one more question and then you guys could close the thread. if i flash an updated version of liteon frimware to the drive would that recover the drive?

Nope as it won't have the key inserted. Sorry tank but it's looking like its game over for the console.

Can't hurt to hang onto it for spare parts or you can use the drive in another console with a dodgy laser etc which has the firmware dumped so you can copy the key over to it. Alternatively sell the parts on ebay. Pads/power brick/drive etc might get you a bit cash up to put towards another one.
