im tryin to flash a liteon drive and i did everything and when i stick it with the probe and run dvdkey32 it says serial data is bad
Im using the ck3 lite and the probe can someone please help me

So you have the RS232 cable plugged into the CK Lite and the back of your pc? Are you getting a solid green light on the probe?

yup yup, everythings plugged in i got the serial cable pluged into ports from a pci card ( a special one just for com ports) and the probe is green

Hmm, make sure that you are in the R707, because the R709 can give you a green light.

of course its in the 707 i tried it like 50 times!!!

okay i connected everything i turn on the drive click eject, turn it off, put it in halfway and click turn on again
I shove the little anal probe into the 707 hole and it gives me greenness and when i click get key blahblahblah it was warning serial data is bad!

This is a 7xxx series lite-on right? If it is, can you try with iprep? Make sure to try with irep v9 RHPG version if you do though.

screw iprep jf is easier

You might think screw iprep, but if iprep works in this situation where JF isn't.......

but ive seen people flash with jf so i dont understand if it works plus iprep is so much more complicated
