i been out of the loop for 3 months
picked up the new xbc
i noticed that my drive is no longer in the list for selectable drives
i have a sh162d
i only see spots for
sh162c
sh163a
tsh943a
gdr-3120l
dvd-rom

will mine still work?

Yep, all 4 (163A, b, c, and d) are all compatible.

Try it with the sh-d162c settings. It should work fine that way.
