i got the key from jungle flasher for my liteon, but when i create iprep V10 disk and boot into the dos, i cann't load flit 1234567 12345.....anyone can teach how?

Firstly revert back to iprep 9 for this time being, there is a few lil issues with 10

once you have installed that you will need to overwrite the ixdef file with the one attached. Then you should be fine to recover the drive

so we can only use jungleflasher to flash new liteon 83850 ? and i always use jungleflasher dump the key, and flash in the Iprep, but sound like it cannot do it in Iprep V10 right?

The new version of iprep is in beta testing at the moment. We are suggesting that you use version 9 until the testing phase has been cleared.

You can use jugnleflash 1.66 to do all of it, but if your afraid that it will lock up on you when you go to do the erase, just use jungle flasher to get your dump and create the hacked firmware, then install iprep 9 and update the definitions is it will take the 83850c ixtreme firmware. Then use iprep to make a bootable usb stick and then in the backups folder create a folder called 1234567 and then inside that create another folder called 12345 and then put your cfw in there, but rename it to litcfw.bin. Then when you boot to iprep all you have to do is run flit 1234567 12345 and follow the instructions. The 83850c's flash like a v1 lite-on just they don't dump the same.

i tried to load the liteon 838 fw in Iprep V9,,,,and it show not vaild firmware

can i just make a boot flash drive for old liteon fw, and after done, i copy and paste the new lit 838 fw instead the old liton fw?

You have to update the definition file for iprep 9 to accept the 83850c firmware.

Just used Iprep V10 with my BenQ drive and it starts halo 3 but only works for about 5min then the 2 left leds start flashing and game over lol

if the console started playing a backup then your flash is fine
it is now having a different problem
get the error code and let us know what the is
and we will help more

still having the same problem as original post with iprep 10.7 and the def file on this site, still cant load 1.6 83850
