Getting unreadable error

On my backups, not originals. I get this error on certain parts. There are no physical scratches on the disk and they worked fine a few days ago.
What could be the problem?

Slow it down to 2x. Memorex are cheap. I had a little trouble with them and reading in my 360. Since coming to this site and talking to some people, I made the switch to Verbatims and haven't had a single problem since.

verbatims are the answer just like RDK said and definitely only write at 2.4 speed.....you should never build your game library around anything other than VERB's as you will either have to replace your drive, tweak the laser, or buy a new system when the MEM's become unreadable. The VERBs give you a larger window of useful life.

Just as everyone said use the lowest speed for writing, and try to stick to verb's.
You will need to find out the speed for yourself. 2.4x is the slowest, thus the best. Some burners only have a couple speeds for burning DL media, and some disks only support certain speeds. You will need to check both out before you know what speed will work for you. (Although if you select 2.4x in imgburn, it will use the next lowest speed that both your burner and the disk support)
