Robin Hoods Playground

Is there anyway for me to check if my probe is bad? Seems to light up only in R707 hole as its suggested to work but I cannot seem to pull keys using it.

I'm thinking it may be the probe.

I was just hoping that someone knew how to test if a probe was good or not.
