using j flasher 166 for liteon 8 series

just need to know if i need to use probe for the 8 series liteon the same as the 7 series and can i use extractor to power on and off have looked at the pdf for j.f 166 and 8 series liteon but doesent indicate what to do on these questions hope im at the right place here many thanks Gary

No mate you dont need the probe for the 83850c drive, you can use the normal connectivity kit to power the drive and to eject it when you need to
