Robin Hoods Playground

Hello people, my head is in the shed but I'm winning I think.
Followed Video hitachi 79 from TEXTBOOK Tutorial and managed to flash it.
My problem is the firmware with toolbox was out dated.

Can I now update the firmware using sadalius tut
NEW VIDEO: Flash Hitachi 78 with Jungleflasher ??

yea
you want to get the latest jungle flash and
update the firmware with that
you will do a restore first then do the flash

So do I use the original.bin I got from toolbox to restore firmware first once I'm in mode B ?
And do I have to use the 79 unlock cd again ? Thanks again Cofree

no

get the v79 firmware pack from xbins
and put them all in the firmware folder of jungle flasher
then jungle flasher will use the right firmware to restore your dvd drive from there

Thanks m8 your a star, I think the tut "Video hitachi 79 from TEXTBOOK" is out dated now. You can do a v79 with just JF and the unlock cd. I could be wrong just seems that way to me.

jungle flasher will do it all
with the audio cd

im actually having some trouble getting jf to find the 79fl, my jungle flasher shows to on the left side of the hitachi window and i can get it into mode b but the devices on the right dont detect the hitachi drive? any ideas?
