Hi Everyone.
o i was trying to flash my lite on...with jungleflasher, didn't go well, it erased the drive but when it came to write the computer froze.
i went to work with iprep, following cofree guide.(i work with floppy)
it all goes well, i get the ff72, then turn off and on, i see the erased drive....then when i do erase it just dosnt do anything, only 3 dots and it dont continue.
i have to say i successfully flashed my banQ.....no luck with the liteon.
any idea???
is it possible i distorted the drive ???
Thanks

If it see's the drive, it should work. Your sata port may be having some problems relaying the commands properly or something and that could be why it's locking up on you. If you can, you might try it on a different computer. Just remember to install and setup iprep on that computer if you do.

Thanks for the quick reply sadalius.
i actually did try it on two different computers, one is with fresh install of windows.
any more ideas.
couple questions:
1: the tray position should be still half closed in that process ?
2: could it be my via card ? what card do you recommend ? (i did the benQ on the same card).
Thanks
Leo

jungle flash does not work with the via drives install in your pc.
have a look over this.

well if you have banged your head in jungle flash
then you may want to give the new iprep v10.7 a go
it may work
you will need to put the via drivers back (well i would)

Thanks for all the help guys,
finally after about two weeks of trying i did the liteon in 2 minutes.
and the answer was right here in front of me all that time.
on board sata works as magic.....thanks Jmicron

:):).
if you have asus "p5w dh delux" mobo, use the black jmicron, works magic.
everything i tried on the via card didnt work.
