I know it has been asked but this a lil diff

old 360 had a samsung drive, drive is no defective and will n ot power up.
bought a new benq,
how can i get this attached and working on my old 360
can not get the dummy.bin as the old drive is dead.
alos i am running on windows 7 x634 and iprep is running like a charm.

Man u need the info from the old drive
If u dont have it im sorry mate but theres no way u can use a new drive in your console

well was affraid of that.
going to turn the system i currently ahve into a media center device in the kids bedroom
and by them a new one then.
thank you very much.
by the way iprep v10.7 worked awesome on windows 7 x64 thought you might like to know
and it also formated my 32gb kingston thumnb drive to fat32 nicely,v ery well coded there.

Before you decide to give up on that drive, you might consider sending it to one of the mods or admins. There are several of us here who run shops and have revived drives that no one thought would ever be useful. Just pick some one that you think you can trust and pm them for more info.
