Trying to flash a Lite-On 83850C Drive w/iPrep v10.7

I have the new iPrep v10.7 program, and I am trying to flash a Lite-On 83850C drive. I am using the CK3 Pro v2 connectivity kit with the probe. My question is, when do I release the probe from the r707 hole on the Lite-On 83850C drive? Do I release the probe after iPrep copies the DVD Key and displays the "***SUCCESS*** on the screen, or before iPrep displays the ***SUCCESS*** on the screen? This is my first time using the new iPrep v10.7 program. Please help. Thanks....c0afanh.

You do not use the probe on the new drive.

Hey i had used to PRobe on my 83850C thinking it was a series 7. ( i know im retarded ) but. the drive itself still works in my xbox. i was wondering if it would have made it so i cannot read the KEY. or since it still works in my xbox for original games should i be able to still get the key?
it tries to read the key but just gives me error. is this just cause the drive not being properly half open? or you think my spearing the 83850c messed up the key?
