Try cleaning the laser with a dvd disc cleaner cd. How long has it been flashed and what firmware is on it?

Well beings you just flashed it today, it sounds like it didn't take. Did you get a copy of the key? How did you flash it? Give me some details.

Lite-on's are quite good, then dont usually have hardware issues... So its likely a bad flash.

Here is a guide on narrowing down your problem:

Code: Select all

1) Does Your Drive Play Originals, but not backups?
     - If Yes, its a bad flash, you will need to do it again.
     - If not, bad flash, or hardware problem (laser, motor, etc...)

            * What about DVDs?
                 - If so, you have a bad key
                 - If not, bad laser, motor, or otherwise bad drive

2) When you put the disk in, does it spin?
    - If yes, its a bad flash
    - If no, its a hardware issue no doubt. (Motor, or the rails need to be greased)

3) Have you ever had any issues playing games prior to the flash?
    - If yes, its probably a laser problem, try cleaning/replacing it.
    - If no, bad flash.
(Needed to use the code box to keep the spacing intact, makes it easier to read)
