Help with Hitachi drives

Hey guys I have flashed many drives but have never ran into a hitachi yet. I was watching the videos on the 78 and 79 and have a question do you have to read to source or just hit flash ixtream on the 78 video sadalius just hit flash ixtream and on the 79 video shootsteel hit read to sorce first is this the way it is or can you do it either way on both?

..... omit the unlock CD if it's not a 79.....other than that just follow the vid and read to source....make sure you have your files loaded in the JF firmware folder before you start the process....if everything reports stable and you got a good key....then flash ixtreme
