Hi guys first off let me say i hope everyone enjoys the fights this weekend war vitor belfort....!!!!
now that thats out of my system hers my questions....

1.im having trouble with my pc reading/seeing my lite-on drive(7485),in jfv155 it see the drive fine under
COM PORT 1,I/O PORT 0x9C00,TYPE SATA,CHANNEL PRIMARY,POSITION MASTER,SILICON IMAGE Sil 3512 raid controller.
DRIVE PROPERTIES,VENDOR PLDS.NAME DG-16D2S,FIRMWARE 7485.
in iprep it sees the drive fine also, but only up until liteo-on erase.after the erasing stage heading into the flashing stage i get no device detected..does anyone have any idea or clue as to what may be happening?

2.in jfv155 i get the drive key,the status is good, but everytime i try lite-on erase i get status 0x50...i've tried a million and one different drive tray positions yet i continue to get this status message...now if my drive is connected properly, and my pc sees the drive and it knows witch port im using and everything..why am i getting status 0x50?

3.i just bought a new sata card,i gave my old one away,i went to the same moms and pops pc store, and thought i had bought the same card.low and behold after actually looking at the dang thing i realize its a sil 3512 raid controller,im thinking this might be my prob...but get this i just flashed a sammy and bennyq and everything was butter,so since i flashed the ben and sam with this card why wont it work with this lite-on?

4.last question why cant lite-ons be easy like the uncle SAM and benny boy q?

seriously though please guys i could use the imput/help

in iprep, what atapi drive number did liteon give?4?
after erase, drive is erased so obviously wont be seen as a liteon.where your drive was will now say drive not identified
as long as you remember the drive number type it in when asked for atapi drive number and press enter, then when asked type w for write

i found out what my problem was.it was the sata card.after about 3 hours of waiting to see if i could get some help here i just said F it and went out a bought a new sata card at my local pc store..i made sure i got a better card with the right chip set.
as soon as i got the sata installed i tried again with iprep and guess what...iprep can now see the drive yay!!!! so i went on with the flash and everything was cool until i got wrong flag error lucky me...so now i must do a lite-on eras and try again through dos flash.
