I recently bought a mobile broadband usb stick (with 3mobile). it has been working fine for about 2 weeks, however over the past 2 days it has been running (unusably) slow. the usb connects to the internet, however ever time i go to a web site it takes forever (almost literally) or times out. i have tried the broadband stick on another laptop in the same room and it works fine. i believe that there is something wrong with my internet setting or other settings on my computer. please help. i am using widows vista operating system

Please dont hijack someone else's thread with something that does not even remotely relate to the original question, I created a new thread for you, and moved the post.

What firewall are you using? Try turning it off, then seeing if your internet works.

Scan your computer for spyware, adware etc. Malware likes to spy on what you do, and send data back to its server, sometimes enough data is being send to slow your internet browsing to a crawl.
