Champions Online Ready For Xbox 360, But Microsoft Not Ready For MMOs
By Patrick Klepek

You would be playing Champions Online through your Xbox 360 this year, if Crypic Studios had its way. The studio recently told VG247 that Champions Online is up and running on Xbox 360, but Microsoft hasn't ironed out the details to bring MMOs to Xbox 360, which is stopping the project from moving forward towards release.
“Right now we’re just talking with Microsoft," said Cryptic CCO Jack Emmert. "Right now the ball is firmly in their court. We’re ready to go, but until we get the go ahead from Microsoft, right now we’re sort of waiting.”
A similar situation has prevented Square Enix from officially announcing Final Fantasy XIV for Xbox 360, as well. As it stands, Final Fantasy XIV is exclusive to PlayStation 3 and PC, though Square Enix said it definitely wants to be on Xbox 360.
