Hi guys i need to spoof an hitachi 59 as a lite-on but am not sure how, i was thinking about using jungle flasher 1.55 as i trust this with Hitachis it seems to be nice and stable.

I have the key for the lite-on drive but not to sure about the process when it comes to spoofing a drive using jf as normally i would use i-prep to do this.

Please could anybody point me in the general direction of a good tutorial.

spoofing is pretty much done for you with JF..

Load JF and you'll start in the firmware tab. Load your lite on dummy as source, and your hitachi Ix 1.51 as your target. Click spoof to source, job done...

Save to file, and the flash as you normally would...

As always, keep hold of both ofw files just in case
