that's in the realm of the E74 error code i believe. had that same problem and i applied the x-clamp fix and the picture came back but it was temporary. . . the extended warranty covers that too. . .

E68 is a HDD error, it was probably not plugged in all the way when you got the error. To be safe you may want to backup your important game saves, incase your HDD is on its way out.

Your HDD should be fine, but I know a couple people who have had their HDD crap out, M$ fixed/replaced it but they lost all their gamesaves. You dont really need a transfer kit, a mem card + a mem card to pc adapter would do, but...

You can also buy a HDD adapter v2 for the same money, which will allow you to hook your console's HDD to your computer, and copy data.

i think im gona have to bk up my saves anyway it seems a good idea, never thought the HDD cud/wud die ... real devastating.

am i right in thinking that the (unused) extra circuit board that comes when you buy the ck3 is a HDD adapter v2 ?

yep :D just checked it ha ha
now then how does this work ? ooooh messing with my HDD, unknown ground here ! how do i do this guys ?

Just done this myself, bought a wd2500 bevt for the 120 upgrade (and for the 250 when they appear)...

Use xplorer360 extreme 2. Make sure you run it as admin if using vista. All your gamesaves/dlc are on partition 3. Personally I'd back the whole thing up and rar it up to save space, but all your content is on partition 3

All the saves /dlc I've tried so far have worked..

The only thing I've had to do is reinstall games...

Google is your best bet for xplorer, but I'm sure xbins have it as well. You want extreme v2, that's the latest one...

Xp is much better for this job, I could extract files, but not inject them with vista
