Bricked LiteOn Drive, I cant get the bootup to work properly
Hi there, I have had a few people try an help me.. Im hoping someone might know what is possibly wrong..
I followed this tut,
I was able to boot up using the USB Device, following this tutorial
viewtopic.php?f=197&t=7041" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
These are the steps I have followed so far.
1) Open Jungle Flasher
2) Load your source firmware ( this is the dummy.bin which you would have got when you clicked get key button in the dvd32key tab)
3) Click no when prompted to auto load ixtreme.
4) Load "ix16-liteon-repack" as your target firmware.
5) Click on "SPOOF TO TARGET" (all the information from you dummy.bin will be copied and your custom firmware will be created.
6) Check that your key has copied correctly from your source firmware.
7) Now save the file as litcfw.bin
You will need to make a bootable usb device either usb or floppy ( usb device is much better)
once you have done that open the device up
1) You will see a folder called backups you will need to open that folder. and create another folder called 1234567
2) Open that folder and create another folder called 12345
3) Copy and paste into that folder your custom firmware that you made in Jungle Flasher "litcfw.bin"
you should end up with the folders like this BACKUPS\1234567\12345\litcfw.bin
You will need to have the tray of your drive half open, if you drive has locked up and wont open there is an attached pic on how to open the drive manually. All you need to do is push the grey bar sideways with just enought force for it to open.
Connect the power to the drive but do not switch it on, also leave the sata cable out
Boot into your iprep device
When I boot in to the Iprep Device, The Tutorial asks me to type in this command..
C:\>flit 1234567 12345
When I do this.. All it says is, "Bad command or file name"
Any ideas?
I have Set up the USB Device using Iprep and the proper LiteOn Firmware as far as i know..
I have tried it four times so far, and I just keep getting stuck in the same spot..

I edited your post so the link works, and have moved this for you, this forum is specifically for paying one of our members to flash your drive. I'll move this for you.
As for the original problem, what version of iprep are you using?

Re: Bricked LiteOn Drive, I cant get the bootup to work properly
The reason your gettin that error is beacause that tutorial was made for iprep 9.
if you have put the firmware in the correct folder try this command in 10.7
L74 1234567 12345 w
that should take you straight to the write command.

I was able to finish the dos prompts following the instructions.
Now the drive is active and it is opening and closing.. But when I put it back in the 360, it will not read backups or original discs.

I tried to start over, using my dummy.bin file and create another spoof..
But when I load Jungle Flasher to do this, It allows me to load the dummy.bin, but when I tried to load the target firmware (liteon 1.6 repack) it just closes jungle flasher instantly..

dump the drive again and see what key is on it. make sure you keep the dummy.bin that you have now seperate so they dont get mixed up

Re: Bricked LiteOn Drive, I cant get the bootup to work properly
When I turn on my Ck3 Lite with my drive hooked up to my PC, It just freezes my PC. I cant get the dump with a frozen pc.
The first time i dumped, I used Jungle Flasher, Is there another way to do the dump?
I am still extremely new at this, I apologize if im a hassle.

Re: Bricked LiteOn Drive, I cant get the bootup to work properly
easy thing add the litcfw.bin file that you created with JF to your next post can see the key in that.
you can dump the drive with iprep which you will need an rs232 cable.
read your pm
