updating liteon f/ware to 1.6

ok guys, my drive has already been flashed. Question, i dont have the dummy.bin or keys for my drive,(i got it flshed by someone) so, do i need to go thru the whole process of getting keys and all that, or can i just go w/ the flashing process in iprep? i read @ another post that it is not neccesarry to go thru all that if your drive's already flashed. thanx.

you need to dump the drive again to get the backup off your key. so treat your drive like its never been flashed before

You don't have to extract the keys over serial if the drive has already been flashed before. Use the 'dummy from ixtreme' button on the dvdkey tab of jungle flasher, that will extract everything you need over sata.
Of course, if you're using iprep, you need to get the keys over serial to build your 1.6, but dummy from ixtreme is a good option for people in your situation

Yup Just dummy from ixtreme and it will give you the info that u need

this is an update for all who helped me w/ my flashing issues, i did it!!! flashed a l74 and a l83 today. thanx again to all you guys for your patience in guiding me thru this process, happy flashing!!--- bsammy----
