I have been reading online and have had no luck i flash 2 other lite ons (F/W beging with 7 instead of 8) When I put the probe in the 707 hole i get nothing. PLEASE HELPPPP!!!!

Dont use the probe on the r707 on the 83850c drives man
u could fry the drive
the probe is only used on the 7 series lite on
Use iprep 10.7 to flash the 8 series

haggard ok i used the jf method is there a sspecial i xtreme fw that i need to get as well or can i use the 1.6 repack i did for my 7000 series

Yeah you can get the firmware off xbins mate
Open up xbins
Then go to xbox 360
Then firmware
Then hacked firmware
Then lite on dg-16d2s
Then the firmware u want is LiteOn_Ixtreme_83850c-THX_1.6.rar

im looking just cant sem to find the link....

Get into xbins, go to xbox 360, firmware, hacked fw, lite-on, then download the 83850c FW Its called 83850c 1.6x or something like that.

yea im a moron im on xbins.org but i dont see a firmware section sorry guys for being a d***head

Auto xbins is kind of a pain sometimes, lots of times I get told im banned, or my connection timed out etc...

haha, I made that same mistake back when I first modded my xbox 1 and was 100% new to xbox modding.
