Write verify failed -- But everything plays fine??

Used latest jungleflasher and followed guides posted here step by step for my new elite Liteon 83850c

Everything seems to have worked fine but I got the 'write verify failed" in Jungleflasher. After Flashing it will play originals and "other" types of discs just fine. Everything is working but should I be concerned about the fail? I was able to repeat the process and every time it's the same result. It's odd but as I said, everything (originals or otherwise) plays fine.

The verification test is there so JF reads the banks, and checks to make sure they were all written fine. If you can play your backups and originals, all the banks have been written to, so its been flashed perfectly.

As for why it fails, I am not quite sure, it doesnt make sense. Ive had the verification test fail on a hitachi, but I had my via drivers enabled, and it failed while trying to read bank 0, I am not quite sure why it would dump all 4 banks, then fail.

Anyways, the verification fail isnt a very big deal. If you got your FW from xbins, and you have tested the drive and it plays backups and originals you should be fine, one of the other guys may have an answer as to why the verification would fail.

I thought it was odd. I know I used a good ixtreme 1.6 made for the new Liteon 83850c. I'm using intel chipset so the via freeze issue wouldn't apply here either. I'm just worried I could run into problems down the road. You guys think it would be a good idea to use iprep and try dos method?

I have a ms28 that takes the updates with no problems and verifies just fine.

You can try iPrep if you dont feel comfortable, it may verify fine.
