If the MFR is June 2009, thats 2 months before the supposed new encryption method was released.
What do you mean when you say you changed the key but you posted that message so we could see whats going on. Did you get the key?

I think thats the key but it wouldnt go through the method twice. It says extraction failed, but to me that looks like the key above. It come out with the same numbers every time.

Im not quite sure the problem here. Ive only done 3 83850c's and each time I have dumped it without a hitch, then flashed it no problems.
You can try the key, and flash it into another drive and verify if its good or not.

Is there a way to save the numbers above into a key? It doesnt give me that option. Just extraction failed each time with the same numbers. Ive flashed multiple drives on with this computer, but with the probe only. Thank you.

Oh, your talking about:

0030: 46 65 61 72 75 61 71 79 - 20 54 76 65 6C 76 65 20 February Twelve

Thats not your key, that is hex saying "In dedication to the birth of mackay on february twelve 2007 mike loves helen"
Your key is not in there...
You may want to try iprep 10.7 see if that gives you problems while dumping.

Im not quite sure here to be honest, the only suggestions I can really give are to play around with drive positions. Some drives have been known to act up if the drive is not in a good position. For example I had a benQ that had to be closed about 80% rather than half.
That may be the case here...
