Robin Hoods Playground

hi guys,i have a spare samsung m28 drive,i want to turn it into a ripping drive,it has 1.6 already flashed on it but the xbox its from is gone to the grave yard,do i need to reflash with 0800 1.6 if so what program,jungleflasher?i had a quick mess about was going to try iprep but it wouuld not load the 1.6 0800 its saying invalid firmware,what firmware is best and which program to flash with,i know 1.6 has 0800 in the firmware,but i dont want to keep putting it into 0800 mode everytime i use it,thats why i want to flash it with 0800, your advice and comments are much appreciated,thanks
