Robin Hoods Playground

Hello Everyone -
I'm looking into buying a soft modded PSP 1000, but I don't know what questions to ask the guy that currently owns it. Is there anything I need to know before I buy something like this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

ive not touched my psp in a year.

Just make sure the UMD drive works good and that its running at least the lates m33 firmware. If not the latest m33, then it should be on the latest gen firmware which is 5.50 gen-b2. The only other thing to worry about is the screen, does it have any dead pixels, and if it does, do they cause you any trouble trying to play games. Do all the buttons work like they should. Is the wear and tear at a satisfactory level for you, things like that is what I would look at.
