hi guys :)
iv just been to a "game" shop in uk to see what they would give my bro for his slim ps3 + 2 games
they said £250 buzzing said i are you gona get a cod elite and blunt as you like he goes and asks the
counter geek "are they chipable" (he doesnt do it i do) counter geek says "no man they have a new un flashable drive in it (which iv read about here) new security inside the xbox to stop that happening when the bottom and top case are seperated it brakes a sensor/security/device/thingy and it can only be re-attached by m/$ and as soon as the case is closed all it does is rrod"
i just stood and listened not knowing wether to laff or not but we held of on the trade in thing untill i could get a bit more info wether this is a possibillity - have you guys any subtle mutterings ?

i think that is bull.

what would happen if you dropped your xbox bringing it home form the store.
or you were moving it to clean it that senor or what ever has moved, shifted or malfuntioned.
its just not practicle.

you can bet it will have the new Lite-on drives

This a common case of a clerk lawyer. Meaning he wants to sound important so he commits to enough bullshit to make you think he's important. I'm glad you had enough foresight though to check with us first. Also if we all have a little patience the "unflashable drive" will be a thing of the past and we'll be back to doing what we've always done!
