NEW Lite-on Quick question

My question is what is with this new lite-on you guys are talking about im kind of worried about this i just want some good info on these bs-3 bs-2 things you guys are talking about. Is this big deal :roll: :roll: :roll:

We don't know a lot about them. What we do know is that they are ''unflashable''. but some modders have flashed it.

@edit I heard you can flash it with Iprep and not with JF. But I don't know.

Well like cainhunpi said were not quite sure really...

Some 83850c drives can be flashed, some cant. We got a hold of a couple unflashable ones, and they had BS-3 on the bottom of the drive board, so we figured that was a way to identify the unflashable ones, that method of identification was soon nullified after one of the guys got a BS-3 board in, and flashed it without a hitch.

At this point the only thing you can do is cross your fingers if you have an 83850c drive, and hope its flashable. If not, just sit on it for a little while, there will be a way to identify it, and to flash it...
