Hit 79FK not dumping!!!!!

Cant dump this Hit 79FK using jungle 1.66(VIA drivers installed,portIO installed and running)I flashed a benq this morning
(without VIA drivers,had to reinstall drivers for the Hit 79FK) One last thing i dont have the green wire from the CK3 pro iam using the blue one with the ck3 probe instead,to power the drive. Does that make a difference?(my green wire ripped)

that could be the problem try to repair your green wire. i have heard of people frying a hitachi with the blue ck3 probe connector.

I have done hitachi's with an onboard sata and with the 6421 drivers renamed.
With the 6421 drivers renamed I had to use select port io. I could not see the drive in jungle flasher but was able to flash it.
With the onboard sata, after I sent it to mode b. I would have to find it in my device manager and scan for hardware changes.
But with both computers, one thing remained a constant. The dvd needed to be fully ejected when I dumped the firmware, if not it would fail everytime. But I dont have a ck3, I use an xbox as a power source.

I fixed da green wire and tried it again and da same error. Will try to rename and make sure da tray is fully ejected and report back. THANX

No that didnt work. I got a different log when i renamed da driver ( i renamed it to viamraid.bak)

Ok you may need to stop while you are ahead.... I wish I knew the answer to your problem. The people who run this site know all kinds, wait for them to drop by.
