well man ill need more than that.
you need netframe work v2.0 installed on your computer for it to work.
viewtopic.php?f=115&t=55

if you have that
how did you update the def file.did you do it or did you let iprep do it.that is what i would do open iprep go to tool then click update it will get it if it not in there.

what firmware are you trying to load
the new iprep wont load the older firmware

nope.. it should not matter what drive iprep is installed on.

The "no firmware loaded" error is when you havn't pointed to & selcted the firmware file.
Iprep is the tool that prepares the boot disk or flash key, it doesn't have the firmwares packaged aswell.

You need to download the latest firmware files from "xbins" to your hard drive then click load firmware on the benq selection box.. navigate to the .rar file & choose the speed you require by choosing yes or no from the on screen prompts (8x / 5x / 2x / 12x).

Then choose your sata card / enable patch for mtkflash / enable "format / make device bootable" & finally "prepare destintion"

If it's a benq drive you need "Benq iXtreme v1.41" ;)

im not real sure about that d drive thing.
im sure netframwork is loaded on your c drive with your windows
i dont know if iprep will make the jump from one to the other.
i would uninstall it and reinstall in on c drive and see what happens.

you only need to load the firmware that you need .
dont try to load both.

ok, first things first. What operating system are you using? If it's Vista, when you go to run iprep, right click it and choose Run as Administrator. When it opens, click tools->Check for Updates. Take any updates that it may have. Then under the Load firmware section for the BenQ Ixtreme Firmware section, click Load Firmware. Navigate to your Benq firmware that you want to use, 12x is what most recommend and double click it. It should load at that point with no other errors or messages coming up. If your going to be doing samsungs too, in the top box for the Samsung do the same thing, but choose your ixtreme samsung firmware. Check the Patch MTKFLASH box, make sure your sata controller is in the drop down, select the target drive, check the format/make device bootable if its appropriate, then click prepare destination. Iprep will then do it's thing.

calls to the .net framework are done via the registry ;)

It just looks like he is trying to load the benq firmware in the samsung selection box!
