Falcon 360 E74

Post by pluto_00 »

Hey guys,

360 falcon box just had red light error code is 1022 ==> E74

Av switch not working... Whats best procedure you should recommend to do ?

I though
First conform if it is still in warrenty
Second call MS and see what they say ... to send it in or so OR would it be better just to take it back to the shop it came from?

If it is out of warrenty ... are there X-clamp fix kits still availeble?

if the x-clamp doesn't work... I should buy a Arcade and put the HD on it from the other one.
But about buying that new one ...
I know what to look for for getting a Jasper ... but is there already a way in telling what lite-on drive it has ?

If the warrenty seals stay intact is it wise to switch the insides en return the new bought one with the inside of the broken elite one ? Or is this not to be recommended ?

thnx

Yea, lots on ebay, I just bought a bulk 200/400/400 kit.

The only way to see what type of drive is the wires, so you can only tell if its a lite-on benQ etc... (You can always check the MFR.)

Gut Swapping? Do it at your own risk.

So there is no telling what drive it has from the outside of te box ?

Look for a Pre June 2009 which you can see by looking in the window at the back of the box and you will 99% have a 7000 series lite on
