Can we get these updates here or make another subfolder that will have the downloads? Also have somebody update/add the files when new fw comes out. That'd be great.

We can't distribute the official ones, that would be copy right infringement. We could get permission to host the releases from dark alex though. I might see if I can get in touch with him and see about that.

EDIT: I just sent the request, so I guess now all we do is wait and see what DAX says.

well psp-hacks.net has the oem releases and the hacked fw. they have special rights?

oh haha well we dont want that kind of trouble here. i guess we can just say "obtain the 1.5fw from sony" its easy enough. the stuff from dark alex though, i understand having to get it from him because he's awesome.

I don't think he'll have a problem with us hosting it here for us and our members, but someone who's worked as hard as he has on getting the PSP to where it is, I think deserves to be asked permission to use his stuff. The official 1.50 fw you can find it on pspupdates.qj.net or the site that you had mentioned, so we could get by with linking to their download of 1.50. I think qj even has a direct link. or even psp-hacks has a straight link That didn't work. I'll have to find it on qj and get their link

well i'd like this to happen because as much as the fw changes i want to keep up to date and have a place where i can get everything in one spot instead of having to google each different thing i need. im up-to-date right now but in the future bigger and better things will happen and i want to have it. it will also bring a lot of traffic for this stuff to because people will google psp custom firmware and this site will pop up.

We have permission to host or link directly to DAX's custom firmwares. He says that we can decide if we want to host them as a mirror or link directly to the binaries.

If CoFree wants to create a sub forum in the downloads section called PSP programs, I'll go get the CFW's and upload them and what not. Otherwise, we can just link directly to them off of DAX's site, but we'll still need the sub forum to put the links in either way.

for programs and dark alex great custom firmware.

this one is all on you guy.
do what needs to be done to have it looking good and user friendly.
after i get into the psp more ill help in there some
but for right now its on you guys.

lets try to set the standard for a good psp site without all the crap that the other sites have.

well need to get some guides up to. ill make a guide thread for the psp
to help those going to mod there psp.

I'll get started on it just as soon as I can.
