VIA CARD DRIVERS QUESTION

hi - im sorry if this has been asked before...when using iprep 10.7 to flash a 83850C liteon drive with a VIA SATA card...do i need to have the normal VIA SATA drivers installed.....or is it ok to use the PORTIO drivers that i have already installed when i flashed a drive previously using JF ..1.66b ...........i hope u understand wat im trying to say ?..ta

iPrep will not use your PortIO drivers, thats only for jungle flasher. Its like installing itunes then worrying that windows media player will mess up because you have drivers for your iPod on your computer.

As far as I know you should have your drivers installed if your using iPrep. I'm not a big iPrep guy, so you may want to wait for someone to confirm this, but I can tell you that portio drivers have no effect on iprep.

hi for iprep you need via drivers installed and uninstall portio32 & for jf you need portio32 installed & via drivers uninstalled

Once you have portio32 installed no need to disable it, as IPREP doesnt need it so it wont use it leavin it enabled if fine to to as ive had it installed for some time and i use iprep

ok ...cheers, so i uninstall portIO32 drivers and re install my via card drivers...ta
