Problem flashing

hey guys, got one question for you...i got the new iprep 10.7 and followed all the videos to a "T" and when i boot the thumbdrive and its about to read the 4 banks i get "status : 0xFF" even if i power cycle the drive...im using the VIA VT6421 and ive done this many many time so i dont know whats wrong. please help. thanks

i had same problem , my solution was change sata port on pci card and just keep trying , when it says to switch dvd on and off pull the plug on 360 and plug straight back in pressing power on as fast as possible if ur using 360 to power dvd, if u got connectivity kit just keep trying it will read banks it did for me
