hi, from what i have read in the forums it says that upgrading to ixtreme 1.61 should let you play wave 4 games with no problem. is this a workaround for using the activate.iso disc? because i have flashed a benq and a sammy drive with the new firmware and i still need to use this disk to play my wave 4 games.

I you have 1.61 and games are not working

then the games are not properly steathed or there is something wrong with the rip

thanks for the quick response. the games actually work fine but i still have to use the activate.iso disc for them to play. So what i was wondering was if the 1.61 actually is supposed to eliminate using the activate.iso so that i can play my back ups without switching discs.

with IX 1.61 you should not use activate.iso

1.61 does not boot badly stealthed games or bad rips

By using the activate.iso. the drive will boot any xbox 360 game. independent of stealth or wave

if this is true than you did a bad flash. . . once you've updated to 1.61 it eliminates the need for the activate iso. check your firmware. . .

I've been wondering on that same topic-I have a BenQ that I spoofed as an Hitachi and flashed as a BenQ do I have to do the spoof again or just flash as a BenQ to get ver. 1.61
